Alfonso de Villalonga (Barcelona, 1962) is a composer for film and theatre, as well as a showman, singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist. He worked and lived for ten years in the United States, where he released two albums and won the Encore Award for the best cabaret singer in the city of Boston (1991). Here he has released seven more albums of his own songs, the latest of which is Hors de saison (Satellite K, 2020).

He has composed music and text for theatre and musicals such as Turning point (Grec Festival, Barcelona, 1999), El mirlo metálico (with Ernesto Collado, 2001), Aloma (TNC, Dagoll Dagom, 2008) or La note d'à côté (Griego Festival, 2016 and Teatro Libre). He has also composed soundtracks for films such as Cosas que nunca te dije (Isabel Coixet, 1996), Mi vida sin mí (Isabel Coixet, 2002), Princesas (Fernando León de Aranoa, 2005), Transsiberian (Brad Anderson, 2007), Blancanieves (Pablo Berger, 2012), Goya and Gaudí awards for best soundtrack), Abracadabra (Pablo Berger, 2017), La librería (Isabel Coixet, 2017, Gaudí award 2018 for best soundtrack and nominated for two Goya awards for best soundtrack and best song for "Feeling lonely where a sunday afternoon").

As a singer-songwriter he has not stopped performing concerts of his own music and several duets, which he presents at the Peralada Festival, among others: Un Cabaret de Cine with the actress and singer Maria de Medeiros, Alphosphore Variations with the guitarist Pau Figueres, J'ay deux amours with the pianist Marco Mezquida, Tête à tête with the Verdian bass Stefano Palatchi, or Décalage (French song) with the Canadian vocalist Fabiola Toupin.
