Edition Guild

The Edition Guild wants to think about and experiment with everything that surrounds the editorial act. We are interested in experimentation through broad formats, the de-hierarchisation of contents and editorial formats and also in attending to actions related to the editorial act: reading, writing, mapping, archiving, printing, distributing, etc. 

Two verbs related to the editorial fact that will cross our ways of doing are:  

To publish: Understood as the act of making public. In this case, both Santa Mònica as a structure and its programming (container and content). 

To print: We refer to an obsolete definition of the verb which is, according to the RAE, "to introduce or force something into something else". We understand the concept of printing in relation to the Santa Mònica as everything that the centre prints for its visitors and users, but also everything that visitors and users print in the centre based on the ways of being, using and working the different spaces.
