The other side invites the public to play with a collection of costume pieces designed by Giulia Grumi inspired by the imaginaries of surrealism, the oneiric, psychedelia and human anatomy.
The pieces have a mixture of unconventional materials, shapes and textures, mixing techniques of textile art and manipulation such as embroidery, patchwork, recycling of leftover materials, painting on fabric, costume setting, simulating different effects.

Giulia Grumi (Milan, Italy, 1985) studies scenography at the Academia di Belle Arti de Brera in Milan. She is doing a one-year Erasmus project at the Institut del Teatre in Barcelona, where she specialises in costume design and production. She has been working as assistant and costume designer in theatre/circus for 15 years and is a costume designer for theatre and cinema.
