MORTALS (Liminal) is an artistic and research project on death and life, which seeks to create spaces for collective reflection on ageing, the end-of-life process, palliative care, accompaniment, death and mourning, through the activation of working groups to share knowledge and experiences. MORTALS (Liminal) is promoted by the artist Albert Potrony and Roser Sanjuan, cultural manager and artistic mediator specialising in participatory and social art. The project has been developed by different art institutions such as La Panera in Lleida and the Pilar and Joan Miró Foundation in Mallorca, in collaboration with social entities, educational institutions and activist groups.

Coinciding with the exhibition cycle El otro lado, which artistically explores altered states and transit between different realities, MORTALES (Liminal) will begin to unfold from May onwards from el Santa Mònica in the format of a citizen and community laboratory.
