In this talk between Aimar Pérez Galí and Juan Antonio Suárez, topics such as body, performance and queer temporalities will be addressed. In addition, several video fragments will be screened, including Touching Blues, a film by Aimar Pérez Galí that forms part of his research process on the impact of AIDS on the dance community in the Spanish and Latin American context.

With the participation of Aimar Pérez Galí i Juan Antonio Suárez
Juan Antonio Suárez holds a PhD in Comparative Literature and Film Studies from Indiana University. He is the author of Bike Boys, Drag Queens, and Superstars and has been one of the PIs of the European project Cruising the 1970s: Pre-HIV/AIDS Queer Sexual Cultures.
Aimar Pérez Galí develops his practice in the field of dance and live arts as a dancer, choreographer, researcher, pedagogue and writer, understanding the body as the site of experience and dance as a tool for critical transformation. His works include _è p i c a_, The Touching Community and Suant el discurs: una crítica encuerpada.
