What is a podcast for?

We'll find out how cultural facilities use podcasts, whether as part of their programmes, as a format for artistic creation or as a dissemination tool.

In this live programme we will talk to the radio station of a museum, Ràdio Web Macba; to the podcast of a facility dedicated to the performing arts, the Mercat de les Flors; with a library with an immense collection of documents, the Biblioteca de Catalunya; and with the management of Santa Mònica, more than to answer the question "What is a podcast for?", to find out how these cultural institutions use them.

Santa Mònica Ràdio is a radio project that investigates the potential of sound and oral narrative linked to an arts centre. The programming is nourished both by the different resident artists' guilds and by external collaborating voices.
